Lahore: Provincial Minister for Industries & Trade, Mian Aslam Iqbal visited various Eid- Ramazan Bazars in Lahore and checked the prices, quality and availability of essential commodities items. He also checked the weight of the bags of Atta, sugar, pulses and other items also at various stalls.
Talking to media at Barkat Market Eid Ramazan Bazar, Provincial Minister for Industries Mian Aslam Iqbal has said that there is no picture of Prime Minister Imran Khan, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar or any other political leader of PTI in Ramazan Bazars because we believe in serving people instead of illusion and self-projection. He said that first time in the history of country, subsidy of rupees crores is being provided on the items used at Eid festival. The stalls of these things have been established in Eid Ramazan Bazars and these Bazars will continue till 10’O clock at night. He said that PTI led government is compelled to take loan due to corruption and wrong economic policies of the former corrupt rulers. Imran Khan or Usman Buzdar did not take this loan to their homes but these loans are being used to pay back the installments of loan taken by former corrupt rulers. He said former rulers looted the national exchequer but the masses have to face the consequences. He said it is a matter of great concerned that by giving money to some people and bring them on roads to defend the plunders. He said that those who telling lies to the nation are not feel ashamed of it, they were used to saying that they have no property in London or Pakistan but properties of billion rupees are appearing.
Mian Aslam Iqbal has said that our government is taking steps for ease of doing business which will help to boost economic activities and promote investment. He said that increase in the prices of petroleum products is due to increase of the prices in the international market. He said our government is taking every step to provide relief to the masses and people will get the relief in the coming budget. Provincial Minister Industries directed the administration to improve the arrangements in the Eid Ramazan Bazars so that consumers may not to face any difficulty. Mian Aslam Iqbal visited Barkat Market, Ghalib Market and Mecca Colony Eid Ramazan Bazars and talked to the consumers about the arrangements and quality of the essential items. Consumers expressed their satisfaction and said that Punjab government has taken excellent initiative for setting up Eid Ramazan Bazars where daily used items are available at subsidized rates.
